What is Buy A Tree. Change A Life?
Founded in 2012 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Buy A Tree. Change A Life is a grassroots movement fueled by volunteers. The organization raises funds for child-focused charities and causes through annual Christmas tree sales, with 100% of proceeds directed toward helping children in need. With over 60 sites across 19 states, the program has, to date, raised over $10 million for both local and global initiatives. Cornerstone Church is excited to join other participating locations in spreading holiday cheer while making a tangible impact in children’s lives.
The organization partners with local churches to set up Christmas tree sale sites, transforming an everyday holiday purchase into a powerful act of kindness. Funds raised at Cornerstone Church will go directly to help children in the local community as well as support vital programs worldwide. Every tree purchased from Cornerstone Church contributes to food, education, shelter, and healthcare resources for children in need.
Event Details: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Tree Sales
To kick off this season’s event, Cornerstone Church is holding a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Sunday, November 24, at 10:15 AM to celebrate the opening of the Buy A Tree. Change A Life tent. The church invites community members to attend the ceremony, experience the spirit of giving, and be among the first to select a Christmas tree. Following the ribbon-cutting, the tent will be open daily from 10 AM to 8 PM until the last tree is sold. Special holiday hours on Thanksgiving Day will be from 2 PM to 8 PM.
