Neewollah on Noble
If you’re looking for safe, light-hearted fun for the whole family, check out the annual Neewollah on Noble. There’s a Kid’s Zone with fun activities for the kiddies, trick-or-treating for candy, costume contests, live music, and more as folks take a spooktacular walk down historic Noble Street in Anniston, Alabama.

3rd Annual Witches Walk and Parade
Did you know that on one special night this year, witches will walk the streets of Oxford? If you want to witness this harrowing event, then check out the 3rd Annual Witches Walk and Parade. Dress up like a witch, warlock, goblin….or anything else your heart desires, and walk with others as they parade down Main Street in historic downtown Oxford. And bring your trick-or-treating buckets, because we have a feeling there will be candy if you ask for it! The proceeds from ticket sales go to fund downtown Oxford with community building. Each participant will receive a T-shirt.

Halloween Light Show Piedmont
Have you ever seen a Halloween light show? If not, then the one in Piedmont is a must-see event! Nightly, you can witness a colorful light show in a historic house in Piedmont, and tune in to 100.7 FM to hear coordinating songs including: Ghostbusters, Adams Family, I Put a Spell on You, Spooky Scary Skeletons, and more.

Trunk-or-Treat Parker Memorial
Get in the Halloween mood early on Sunday, October 23 for the Trunk-or-Treat and Fall Festival at Parker Memorial Baptist Church in downtown Anniston. “Treats” include candy and cotton candy, popcorn, sno cones, and hot dogs, and other features are inflatables, a petting zoo, games, crafts, balloon animals, and a photobooth.

Mr. Dan’s 4th Annual Trunk-or-Treat
Hosted by Mr. Dan’s Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling, Mr. Dan’s 4th Annual Trunk-or-Treat is a trunk-or-treat event that pulls out all the stops! Located on the football field at Trinity Christian Academy, it offers a bouncy castle, vendors and food trucks, a live band, giveaways, and tons of candy. And it’s the Tuesday evening before Halloween weekend, so a great early option to start your candy collecting.

Disney Trunk-or-Treat
If you are a lover of all things Disney, then Alexandria is the hot spot to visit the Disney Trunk-or-Treat. There’s plenty of candy to be collected, a prize drawing, and a prize for the best decorated car. All About You Hair & Nails is the sponsor of this fun event.

Trunk-or-Treat Lakeview Baptist Church
Local churches are excellent places to enjoy trunk-or-treat events, like Lakeview Baptist Church in Oxford, Alabama. Their Trunk-or-Treat includes candy, games, a costume contest, decorations, refreshments, and more.

If you’d prefer that your kids stay off the streets on Halloween night, you can attend the Trunk-or-Treat hosted by West Park Heights Baptist Church. The event is costume-friendly, and besides candy, they’ll be offering hot dogs until they run out.

Trick-or-Treating at Glenwood Terrace
There are certainly countless great neighborhoods for kids to safely go trick-or-treating in Calhoun County. But one local favorite deserves a special nod. If you’d enjoy a friendly encounter with the ghostly Headless Horseman, you’ll need to make a trip on Halloween night for Trick-or-Treating at Glenwood Terrace in Anniston. There’s loads of historic homes decked in Halloween decor, plenty of candy for dressed up kids, and photo ops with the Headless Horseman himself! While it hasn’t been publicized yet for 2022, you can keep an eye on this page for details as they unfold.

Amstar Festival of Fright Fright Nights
