Fans of The Sunsets are “looking to the stars” with the release of the band’s new single, “Space Love”. The out-of-this-world single describes jumping into the unknown aspects of a relationship, explains lead singer and keyboardist Torsten Dryden. “It has a rocking, rock-and-roll vibe to it.”

“Space Love” is now available for purchase and streaming on all streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Google Play. As well as music sites such as SoundCloud, Pandora, and YouTube.

The Sunsets lineup includes Torsten Dryden along with his brother Breihan Dryden, drums; Jack Vermuth, bass guitar; Trent Johnson, guitar; Quincy Chapman, saxophone; and Hannah Culpepper, backing vocals.

Membership in the alternative rock band has changed a few times over the years, but Dryden says, “The group we have right now is probably the most diverse, strong group so far.”

“Having the additional instruments and vocals really pushes us to outer limits that we really didn’t know we could get to… We can capture higher vocals with a female voice, and our bassist can provide lower backing vocals, which allows us to create harmonies.”

The Sunsets released a 12 song debut album, Heartbreak Massacre, in 2018. You can listen on your favorite streaming service and purchase your own copy.

Dryden notes that you will hear the saxophone on several tracks on Heartbreak Massacre, and as The Sunsets incorporate more and more sax into their new music he says, “upcoming music will have a lot more energy.”

Catch The Sunsets performing live at venues from North Alabama to Florida, Atlanta to New Orleans, and everywhere in between as the band looks to “branch out” to new cities. You can book The Sunsets by contacting the band via email or social media.
